All orders are subject to Wine Hound terms of sale.

TERMS OF SALE

Delivery.
Delivery will be made between Mondays and Fridays, usually between 8.00am and 4.00pm
The more information you are able to provide on the location of delivery and who to deliver to if you are out will help immensely and can keep our service as efficient as possible.

If the first attempt of delivery fails we will make one further attempt. You will be left a card by the courier with instructions for this second delivery. Unfortunately if this fails you will have to make arrangements directly with the courier for delivery.

The security of your wine is very important to us and when you leave alternative delivery addresses or location we ask that you make sure that you are happy with the arrangement.  Only persons over the age of 18 are allowed to sign for goods.
Orders can be delivered to an alternative address subject to all the usual security checks by your credit card issuer.

We will only deliver to UK mainland addresses.

Charges.
Deliveries over £100 will be delivered FREE
Wine Hound charge £5.95 per case on orders below £100

Returns.
We will arrange for a replacement / credit / refund for any wine that is not up to standard.
Please contact us via the website and one of our team will call you to make any arrangements.

Wine Hound will at all times adhere to any legal restrictions imposed on us in connection with the sale of alcohol.

By submitting payment details to WorldPay you will be submitting an order which will incorporate all these terms.

When you place an order you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept our terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us. This contract is made on the terms of these conditions, which are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

A contract will exist as soon as we take payment and issue a Wine Hound order confirmation email. On receipt of your order confirmation email please check all details carefully, and contact us straight away at customerservice@winehound.co.uk if anything appears incorrect.

Your account
When you use the Wine Hound website either direct or via an affiliate, it is your responsibility to ensure that your account and password remains confidential and secure. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

Wine Hound reserves the right to terminate accounts or cancel orders at our discretion. Should we cancel an order any payment received will be refunded in full.

Wine Stock
Very occasionally we may run out of a particular wine without notice. Should this be the case we will contact you to discuss your order and advise of a later delivery date or recommend an alternative bottle or case. If our suggested wines do not meet with your requirements or if the new delivery date does not meet with your approval we will arrange a full refund.

Customer complaints
If you have a problem with Wine Hound please notify us by emailing us at customerservice@winehound.co.uk. We strive to acknowledge all communications with 24 hours and to resolve any matter with the shortest possible delay.

Prices

All Wine Hound prices are in £’s sterling including VAT (at 17.5%) and displayed as either per case or per bottle (75cl) prices. We make no charge for credit card transactions. We endeavour to ensure that the pricing on the website is accurate, however occasionally we may make an error. We reserve the right, at our discretion, at any time to amend our website prices, offers and products.

Special offers/Promotions.
Any special offers and discounts are based upon our published wine prices 2007 edition1. Should you wish to receive a copy you can do so by contacting customerservice@winehound.co.uk. Special offer wines and Champagnes are subject to availability at time of going on offer and we reserve the right to terminate/withdraw any special offer/promotion at any time, without prior notice. If you are participating in an offer that has an offer code to enter into the transaction, please refer to any special terms and conditions on that offer.  Offers found in promotional material/3rd party sites and/or where a code is required cannot be combined with any other offer/discount other than Wine Hound Loyalty Points. Redeeming any special offer means you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of that offer code. Offer codes are non-transferable and may not, at any time be auctioned or sold.   Promotion offers from Wine Hound do not have a cash value.

Delay or Diverting an order
Should you wish to delay, divert or stop delivery of your wine order this must be done immediately and in writing to customerservice@winehound.co.uk .  We will do our best to accommodate your needs depending on the status of your order.
Because our payment processing provider (WorldPay) operates real time payment processing your account is immediately debited to the sum of your order value and we can not refund.  Therefore cancelling an order constitutes non delivery of product not a cash refund.  For full information on refunds see the paragraph below.

Governing Law
This contract for the sale and purchase of goods ordered shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

WEBSITE USE
The following terms and conditions will apply to: (a) your use of our web site; (b) our supply of products and services; and (c) our dealings with you. By entering, accessing or using our web site in any way, you agree to comply with our terms and conditions. If you do not accept our terms and conditions in full, you must stop using our web site immediately. It is a condition of use of this web site that only people aged 18 or over are allowed to register/book.

Governing Law
This web site has been designed for use within the United Kingdom. By accessing this web site you are agreeing that the Courts of England will deal with any disputes, which may arise between you and us, and that English law shall be the applicable law.

Non-Commercial Use Only
You may only use this web site for your own personal use (which will at all times be reasonable and not abusive) or for purposes legitimately connected with purchasing our products and services. You are not allowed to access, use or copy any material or information on this web site for any commercial purpose or for any purposes which are unlawful.

Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Wine Hound be liable to you or to any other person or entity in any way, whether arising under contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for damages of any kind arising from the use of this website, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, lost revenue or profits, lost or damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, that result from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
If this limitation of liability provision shall be deemed unenforceable, either in whole or in part, then such parts as are unenforceable shall be deleted, the remaining parts shall remain in full force and effect and Wine Hound ‘s liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this Terms of Use Policy shall exclude or limit Wine Hound’s liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or Wine Hound’s liability for fraud.

Disclaimer of Warranty
Separate terms and conditions may apply to certain products, services and materials available through this website. If this is the case this will be brought to your attention. Subject to this, no express or implied warranties of any kind are made in respect of this website or the products, services and materials available through it.
