Fashionable Italian Prosecco produced in the Veneto region with the chic Borgo Col del Alto packaging. Pale light yellow colour, with fine mousse. Delicately fruity, slightly aromatic bouquet with hints of flowers among which honey and wild apple scents are perceived. It is well balanced and light.

Founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter, the company is still in family control, being third genaration. The company has grown from making wines from the family estate of 100 hectares on the Veneta-Fruili boarder, to working with producers across Italy, especially in the regions of Puglia, Molise, Abruzzo and Sicily.

I would choose this Prosecco any day over a house Champagne, especially in the 'credit crunch'! It's smooth, creamy and the bubbles last unlike other cheap sparkling wines. You will be surprised!

A fantastic base for the classic Bellini cocktail or just to quaff on its own. A delicious alternative to Champagne that absolutely hits the right spot!
