A superb property located on the edge of the famous Margaux appellation planted with 65% Merlot 15% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Aged in oak and carefully blended, this delicious claret is consistently good, with ripe supple fruit and soft tannins. Although it is already drinking well, allow half an hour for the wine to breathe after removing the cork, or cellar for up to five years.
This superb chateau was built in 1875 located on the edge of the famous Margaux appellation. The estate actually consists of two pieces of land, one in Les Paruades near Chateau Maucamps, the other in the village of Lescalles itself.
