Very bright greenish yellow colour with intense citric aromas of pink grapefruit, passion fruit and lime. In the mouth it is fresh and citric, with intense and concentrated flavours and a lingering aftertaste.

Chateau Bel Air - 2007

Bordeaux Red Wine 75 cl Bottle

Chateau Belair is an excellent Petit Chateau, located on terraces overlooking the Gironde River, and their Bordeaux wine is a classic blend of 50% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. This is a classic claret with ripeness and finesse from a superb micro-climate of influences from its position above the river.

Chateau Bel Air sits in a remarkable position, on the terraces over looking the River Garonne. The vineyards of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are influenced by the warming effects of the river.The result are ripe wines with plenty of fruit and finesse.

A delicious claret with a lot of style. I served it with Rack of Lamb and my very impressed guests thought it should have been twice the price per bottle.

Every house should have claret at Christmas and this one will suit all tastes. Will be brilliant with a Christmas meal or even better for Boxing Day leftovers!
