Create your own mixed wine case of 12

Wine Hound enables you to discover new wines without having to commit to buying a full case of an untried wine. Either way you will try something really different and discover a whole new world of wine. There are over 400 wines to buy online. Our wines are not commonly found in the high street... so if you're not sure where to start - use our guide below or choose from our pre-mixed wine case selection.

How do I choose my wines?

If you already know which wine you need, you can use the search box on the left hand menu to help you find it (The more specific your search term, the better the findings will be)

If you are not sure where to start, use our grape/country/price search buttons to help you find the wines which suit your tastes and budget best!

Helpful hint: Watch out for the 'Sniffed out' or 'Cool' symbols on the wine descriptions as these are handpicked by our specialist wine buying team as being particularly great value for money. Watch out for the medal symbol to see where a wine is an award-winner too!

How do I add wines to my shopping basket?

You can either choose to buy a whole case of one wine - simply click on the 1st 'add to basket' button ....

or if you just need one or two wine bottles of that particular wine - type in the quantity of wine bottles you need and then click on 'Add to basket'. You'll see that the 'wine rack' on the top right hand side starts to fill up as you make your choices... and you can see how many more you need to make up the 'case of 12' quantity. What a great way of having a few bottles of wines you know you love already alongside a few others you'd like to sample!

You can only proceed to checkout when you have chosen a minimum of 12 bottles 

How many wines do I have to buy?

You can buy as many or as few wines as you wish as long as the total bottles you buy are purchased in cases of 12. eg: if you were having a dinner party, you could buy 5 x white wine; 5 x red wine and 2 champagnes to make up your own mixed wine case.

What if I need more than one wine case?

You can keep on adding bottles to your basket until you've reached the amount you need (keeping to quantities of twelves)

I've finished wine shopping - what next ?

When you've finished making your wine selection, click on the 'go to checkout' and proceed as prompted. We aim to deliver within 48 hours for all orders placed before 1pm Mon-Thurs. Any orders placed outside of this will be delivered within 2 working days. You will receive an order confirmation via email.

I have loyalty points to trade in to get discount - how do I do that?

You can log into your account prior to starting your wine shopping and you will see at the top of your screen how many loyalty points you have on your account (500 loyalty points = £5 off your next order)

Or - if you've already started your shop, you can trade in your points just prior to entering your payment information but you will need to log in to do this at the checkout stage (there is a button to allow you to log on at checkout)

You may trade in as many or as few as you wish - you do not have to use them all at once.
