Beaujolais Red Wine

The Beaujolais 'Cru' Moulin á Vent is named after the abandoned windmill, which stands at the peak of the hill with Fleurie in the distance. It is perhaps the most concentrated and longest lived of the 10 named 'Cru' villages of Beaujolais. The vineyard is a combination of sand and granite stones planted with bush vine Gamay. This Domaine wine has a rich aroma of violets and cherry, exceptionally full palate with typical vibrant Beaujolais fruit and finishes with supple tannins.
Renowned Michelin starred chef and vineyard owner, Georges Blanc, selects a range of top cuvées from local domaines for his restaurant in Vonas, near Mâcon.
